According to the Canon UK ambassador and renowned wildlife photographer Andy Rouse’s recent photos on Instagram declaring that those were taken by ‘some new kit’ – which is raising too many eyebrows and paving a path for newer suspicions for a new Canon camera to be released very soon in the market by Canon.
Andy Rouse, however, has been completely hush-hush about it and according to his posts, it was only known that the camera can shoot at a speed of 30fps burst speed which could be dropped down to 5fps during the shoot.
According to the folks at Canon Rumors, Andy was one of the first persons to test the Canon EOS 1DX Mark II. But given the frame rates, it would be fairly difficult for a 32MP APS-C system to achieve the 30fps level.
However, the above speed can be easily achieved by a mirrorless camera. In the April, Canon confirmed to be putting up a new mirrorless system for a high-end full-frame mirrorless shooter to join the current EOS R series. This teased mirrorless camera would have in-body stabilization, something neither the EOS R nor the more affordable EOS RP offer.
Be it for a new DSLR Camera or a mirrorless snapper – it remains to be seen. We hope it comes out as amazing as it sounds! Check out our latest collection of DSLR and mirrorless cameras below:
